We are hiring: Client Solutions Support Analyst

At GEOLYTIX, we seek new and innovative ways to make spatial analytics accessible, exciting and indispensable. Our customers span the retail, property, leisure and food & beverage industries across the globe. We support our customers in network planning, site location & estate rationalisation. We build innovative spatial data and are passionate about the open data community. We build in-house solutions on our open-source XYZ framework, which underpins our online mapping platform (MAPP). Using MAPP, we combine various forecasting methods, modelling processes and a range of data to create bespoke solutions tailored to each client.

The Role

This role is part of our Client Solutions team, focused on the delivery, configuration, and support of bespoke client instances on MAPP. This role comprises three main parts:

Operational Support

• Maintain and enhance our current suite of client usage statistics
• Maintain and enhance our current suite of product analytics, helping us deliver insight and inform software changes
• Assist with platform support tasks, including but not limited to resolving client access issues, handling ad hoc requests, and supporting on account renewals
• Help write clear, client facing software change logs

User Acceptance Testing

• Support the UAT process to ensure all new and updated client instance are rigorously tested and meet agreed business and client requirements before release
• Collaborate with project and account managers to validate system readiness and gain formal sign-off

Technical Responsibilities

• Support the configuration of bespoke web mapping instances to the customer requirements
  This may include:
• Writing SQL queries to deliver insights
• Ensuring the outputs are visually appealing and effectively answer the business questions posed

About You

• You’re analytical and know how to present outputs clearly
• You’re a team player but can work independently
• You’re eager to learn and able to use your own initiative
• You’re diligent, take pride in your work and have a strong attention to detail
• You’re an excellent communicator and have the ability to liaise with internal teams and external stakeholders
• You have experience in a customer facing role and understand client expectations

Ideal Skills

• Proficient in SQL (PostgreSQL)
• Experience of visualising data on the web
• Familiar with using GitHub
• Experience with UAT planning, execution, and issue resolution
• Basic understanding of JavaScript, HTML and CSS
• Comfortable communicating with clients and understanding their needs

Office Location

Our offices are in Leeds and Clerkenwell, London. The role can be located in either. We’re a young and growing company who embrace flexible working; full time or part time, and hybrid working.
