The Geolytix Podcast: AI Series
Where location intelligence meets AI. Join Ed Parsons and the Geolytix team for a 6-part podcast cutting through the hype to find real clarity.
AI is everywhere right now. And depending on who you ask, it’s either exciting, overwhelming, or something you’re still trying to make sense of.
In our world of location planning, we’re seeing all sides of that spectrum. Some are diving in headfirst, others are cautiously exploring, and many are still asking: what does this actually mean for us?
That’s exactly why we recorded a 6-part podcast series, hosted by the brilliant Ed Parsons, exploring where location intelligence meets artificial intelligence.
We are delighted to be working with Digital Geographer and Geospatial Consultant Ed Parsons. Ed brings a wealth of experience and knowledge, from being the first Chief Technology Officer at Ordnance Survey to Google's Geospatial Technologist for 18 years.
“We are at a pivotal moment where AI and Machine Learning are transforming geospatial analysis from simple mapping into a powerful predictive engine. However, the 'Intelligence' in AI is only as good as the information feeding it. Geolytix understands that high-quality foundation data, knowing exactly where people live, work, and shop, is the essential bedrock for any successful network strategy. I’m looking forward to helping the wonderful Geolytix team continue to lead the charge in evidence-based decision-making." - Ed Parsons
Across the series, we aim to:
- Cut through the noise
- Share the importance of responsible use in technology
- Examine why data quality is everything
- Look at the real-world impact on decision-making
- Discuss where humans still matter most
- Debate what we think comes next
This isn’t about hype, it’s about clarity. Practical, grounded conversations for wherever you are on your AI journey from a location intelligence perspective.
